We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Executive to join an independently owned company who manufacture and distribute products to their client base across the UK. The role is based in Romsey, Hampshire and the main purpose of the role is to help develop new business as well as nurture existing clients in an account management fashion.
- Maintain and develop existing relationships
- Apply yourself to pre sales preparation, sales and aftercare to your customers
- Customer interface directly and via email and telephone
- Prepare product sales material and quotations and respond to incoming enquiries
- Negotiate and close sales
- Reviewing own sales performance, to meet and exceed targets
We are looking for candidates who have a sales/account management background. It would be really beneficial if you have a Technical mind set too, so if you have an interest in IT or technology that would be deemed an advantage.
A positive nature, excellent communication skills and an ability to organise are essential in the role. We want to unearth someone who enjoys the challenge of problem solving and providing answers to customers. You will manage your own portfolio of business so the need to be self motivated is essential.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm with free parking.
