We are currently recruiting for a Field Sales Representative to join a well-established company based in Tadley, nr Basingstoke. You will be managing a large portfolio of customer accounts to build and maintain strong relationships with them. As well as this, you will be required to develop new local business links and opportunities along the way.
The company is one of the UK’s leading distributors of building materials to the end user, selling mainly to local builders, contractors and developers across the South of the UK.
Most of the working week will be spent on the road meeting your established customers, and meeting potential prospects but you will also maintain a close working relationship with the branch too by being on site at least once a week.
A key requirement of the role will be to set terms for customers in order to maximise profit whilst maintaining commercial awareness
We are looking for candidates who have a good knowledge of building materials, and it would be really desirable if you already had contacts in the local area to sell to. You will be self motivated and have an excellent track record of sales and account management on the road.
The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday and on top of the base salary you will earn a healthy commission as well as a company car.
