A highly innovative and specialist business services provider operating within the risk management field are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Sales team based in Christchurch. This a unique business providing risk management support and consultancy services, predominantly to blue chip and large corporate clients who deploy staff overseas as part of their business operations .
Responsible for the generation of new and pipeline business, this is a sales role that requires the ability and drive to undertake in-depth research into prospect clients, current markets and competitor offerings to ensure that a truly consultative sale and subsequent service can be delivered. Covering a national and international remit, the willingness and ability to travel as and when required by business necessity will also be important, as will a professional style and approach that will allow you to truly represent the company to clients both remotely and in person.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have experience of business to business selling into blue chip companies, selling a business service or consultancy offering and have a proven track record of developing fantastic business relationships with senior client stakeholders. This is an environment where business is developed from growing long term and in-depth relationships and so requires a selling style to suit. Travel demands are not extensive , but are required.
Hours for the role: 37.5hrs per week. Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 17:30
