We are working with a local commercial firm who are looking to add a dynamic Client Relationship Manager to their team. The company have been seeing a steady influx of customer enquiries come to their attention over the past 12 months and as a result are now in need to take on a new Relationship Manager.

Having the ability to look after customer enquiries, demonstrate a friendly confident manner with a natural gift for conversation, would be the ideal blend of characteristics that will benefit the business model.

The key purpose of this role is to: deal with enquiries from new clients. It involves assisting those potential clients, answering questions, provide quotes where appropriate, all with a view to converting enquiries into paying clients.

You will be the face and voice of the Firm and the first impression that many clients have

You will work alongside the existing client relationship manager as part of a two-person team. The role will involve assisting them with overspill of work, covering their absence and introducing into new departments their innovative and highly successful way of handling and converting new client enquiries. It is therefore a brand-new role, reflecting their continued dynamic growth.

Experience

  • Previous experience of sales in a Professional Service or Telecomms or even Travel sector is beneficial.

  • Some knowledge of the property world would be useful too. However, anyone without such experience, however, should not be put off applying as full training will be given. It is all down to the right person

  • Experience of dealing with clients in a professional manner

  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information appropriately

  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills

  • A great telephone manner

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • IT literate

  • Able to build good relationships with others and work effectively with other team members

  • Calm and considered approach and able to work under pressure with a ‘can do’ attitude

  • Conscientious and self-motivated with a responsible attitude

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Ability to use own initiative to promote other parts of the firm where appropriate

  • Flexible and adaptable
