Product Manager

We are recruiting for a qualified CNC Engineer who is looking for a step up and become a specific Product Manager. You will being joining an industry leading organisation who provides high quality work holding and excellent technical support and assistance to all of their customers. The company have a constantly expanding product range and customise solutions which is able to provide their customer base with significant cost and time advantages. In this role, you would specifically nurture all existing customers of one of their main product lines.

About the portfolio of products you would manage: IEMCA is the world leader of automatic bar feeders. Their range of products are dedicated to the turning industry and is the widest available in the market which includes automatic bar feeders for single-spindle lathes with fixed and sliding headstocks, for bars up to 20 feet long, diameters between 0.8 mm and 100 mm and beyond. As well as solutions for multi-spindle lathes with up to 8 spindles and also integrated bar feeders and automatic retrofitting bar feeders for stock reel. IEMCA offers a range of highly qualified services throughout the world, thanks to its global presence.

Always a pioneer in the field with of technological innovations and attentive to both the needs of the industry and of the workers, IEMCA is the first and only bar feeder manufacturer to have obtained the certification of ergonomics; as well as being the first bar feeder manufacturer to have an Industry 4.0 solution

Within your role as Product Manager you would be responsible for:

  •  Developing your knowledge of bar feeders – specifically IEMCA
  • Specifically supporting IEMCA product customers
  • Answer queries, provide ‘hands on’ assistance as required
  • Managing campaigns, producing quotations, administration of orders
  • Be confident and build on the excellent level of technical support of which the company is renowned for

Skills & experiences required to be considered: 

  • Degree or at least 5+ years CNC Engineering experience
  • CAD knowledge
  • Electrical experience (training will be issued if required)
  • Able to communicate on varying levels, from shop floor to Director level
