​We have a new vacancy now available for a Finance Manager to join a company who are going through some exponential growth as they embark on an exciting new era whilst remaining an appealing and reputable local employer based in Andover.

The role of Finance Manager will primarily see you: lead a Finance Department made up of MA's, a team of accounts administrators, credit control and a purchase ledger clerk. The role will include working with other wide reaching departments to ensure all key financial activity flows accurately across the senior teams. This position will be made up of four days in the office, one day working remotely.

We are looking for someone who has a minimum of five years experience working in a finance department environment with at least two years working as a senior or manager within a finance team.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of reconciliation work, management accounts, budget preparation, running an audit and managing a finance team.

You should have an inquisitive mind and a willingness to work well with senior management across the organisation as well as other members of the finance team.

Skills and experience required to thrive in this role include:

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified (by experience will be considered)

  • Preparation and review of management accounts

  • Running an annual audit

  • Reading and manipulating data in Excel

  • The ability to manage and lead a team

  • Strong MS Office skills

Excellent communication qualities at senior level
