We are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance to join a growing operation based in Salisbury, Wilts.
Working closely with a Managing Director, the Head of Finance will need to demonstrate Commercial awareness and drive decisions where required.
There is a big focus on Commercial Finance within this role. You will provide finance support with a focus on cost management, commercial scrutiny, delivery and tracking of strategic cost-saving initiatives. Producing insightful financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, in addition to this business partnering and commercial support, including contract negotiation, you’ll also be involved in stakeholder management.
Within this role you will have a small finance team reporting into you so line management experience is an advantage in this role.
We are looking for a candidate who is ambitious about their career and ultimately will want to continue to progress to greater heights within the organisation and form a tight knit management team, which eventually could result in a relocation opportunity to London. You will need to prove confident enough to eventually present to clients and board level. We also expect the chosen candidate to attend regular meetings held in SW.
Stepping into this role will mean you become part of the Senior team where you will be required to offer suggestion and help make key decisions to impact the companies continuted success.
- Commercial experience is essential. We are ‘openminded’ in terms of background but do insist that an application must demonstrate examples of responsibility within a senior financial role as opposed to just ticking boxes. If you have progressed within a company up to a Senior Level
- Must be a fully qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA (equivalent qualifications are also welcome)
