Logistics Administrator

A specialist distribution organisation located in the west of Southampton are currently recruiting for an administrative assistant to join their operations team. With logistics and distribution at the very core of the business, this is a critical team role at the heart of a very values driven and collaborative business environment.

Responsible for the daily inputting of data into electronic Information Management and Resource Planning Systems, accurate and timely data entry will be a core element of this position. Additional responsibilities will include documentation completion, scanning of documents, researching and reporting of information and booking of transportation. Attention to detail, excellent time management and an ability to deliver against defined timeframes and milestones will be absolutely critical to succeeding within this role.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a demonstrated ability to build fantastic relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have experience of working within a logistics role, ideally including imports and exports.
