We are currently recruiting for a Secretary to join a fantastic Commercial firm based in the heart of Salisbury.

The main duty of the role is to provide key support within the business, providing outstanding Secretarial support and excellent client service.

Key duties include: –

  • Fast and accurate audio and copy typing
  • Scanning incoming post and documentation to the firm’s electronic document storage system
  • Recording and relaying accurate telephone messages from clients to fee earners (taking action in fee earners absence if appropriate)
  • Email management (taking action where appropriate and ensuring that the fee earner is updated with any action taken)
  • Dealing with file opening/closing and archiving
  • Drafting bills and printing billing guides
  • General office duties such as filing and photocopying
  • Occasional reception lunchtime cover once a week
  • Ensuring fee earners comply with Best Practice, Risk and Compliance and Money Laundering requirements
  • Drafting basic correspondence

Skills required: –

  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office
  • Legal secretarial experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to work under pressure
  • To present a smart and professional appearance and manner

Hours are Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm
