We have a new opportunity available for a Goods In/Out Stores person to join a local business who are forerunners of scaled production and design for the manufacture of components used in the mass transportation and defence sectors.
Set back in an idyllic location, our client uses the most advanced technologies combined with their leadership experience to deliver to their client base. They are proven manufacturers of components at an industrial scale and are now positioned as market leaders in sustainable syntheses across their client's sectors.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Plan and organise stock and inventory
Accept deliveries and despatch goods, ensuring the product is suitably packaged
Following a strict quality process to ensure that the companies products are delivered to the highest standard
Following and completing all production and quality documentation correctly without deviation to ensure product traceability
Keeping the store organised and clean
Comply with Health and Safety requirements, adhering to H&S policies and always working in a manner that safeguards you and your fellow employees
Operating to the standard of ethical behaviour
Essential requirements of the role includes:
Good administration skills
Be a good communicator
Attention to detail
Work as part of a team or off your own initiative
Be able to work in a safe, reliable and repeatable manner
A team player - to fit with a small team
Forklift experience, (preferably with a valid licence, however refresher training will be issued).
