Team building – Cocktail making? Oh go on then!

It’s been a busy Summer for the team, so we thought, what better way to celebrate 2016 thus far than to…. Make Cocktails!

So we took a little trip down to our good friends at the award winning Koh Thai restaurant on Endless Street in Salisbury for a fantastic feast, which by the way was enough to feed an army! But after we enjoyed the culinary delights on offer it was over to Ashley our cocktail guru to put us through our paces and showcase a couple of tricky little numbers for us to try our hands at.

First up was their popular Dragon’s Ruin, a fruity little number drank from a jam jar.

Our Stevie was nominated ‘best cocktail’ in this round, proving to be streets ahead (& clearly the only one to pay attention) as Louise & new recruit Mark lacked enough alcohol!! Sam on the other hand added ONLY alcohol, and I, well I was punished for my presentation as I forgot to remove the giant silver stirrer upon completion. I think Mary Berry would have had me evicted from #TGBBO for this cardinal sin.

However I soon redeemed myself, taking the victory with the ‘Koh Samui Cooler’ otherwise known as an upside down traffic light! Poor Mark ended up adding the wrong mixer, so technically he created his own bareable concoction. Stevie was a close second with an impressive effort. Sam, again only added alcohol, and as for Louise, well let’s just say she was much better at the tasting!!

All in all a cracking night out. Never ever underestimate the power of stepping outside of the norm and switching off away from the office with the people who make things happen for you.

The team here at ReQuire are dedicated to providing a fantastic service and are passionate about their job so it was great to celebrate success and of course welcome our new recruit Mark with a great night together.
