​We have a vacancy available for an experienced Accounts Assistant to take on the responsibility of all the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger controlling function for our client based in Salisbury.

In your role you will also be accountable for general accounting support and supporting in the role out of a new accounting systems - Sage200.

Some of your daily responsibilities will be to:

  • Assist with the transition of accounts payable/receivable

  • Process invoices, match invoices with purchase orders

  • Handle supplier payments and query resolution

  • Control the accounts for accounts payable/receivable

  • Support in the roll out of a new accounting system - Sage200

  • To ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures including those relating to H&S

The above is just an outline of primary tasks, we are looking to find someone who has a flexible approach who can work well in a team.

This role would suit an experienced candidate with at least 3 years experience of working within an accounts assisting role preferably with exposure to Sage200.
