The primary role of the Account Controller is to: Support the Operations & Finance teams in producing accurate and timely reports and information. Ensure efficient day to day processing of customer receipts and bank entries. You do need to be great with numbers and enjoy communicating with customers and colleagues alike. The role has been designed to sit perfectly between the Sales function of the business and the customer.

This role will support the Operations and Finance teams by:

  • Ensuring efficient day to day processing of customer receipts and bank entries.

  • Producing accurate and timely reports.

  • Contacting customers by telephone, text and email to ensure timely receipt of payments

  • Reconciling financial systems to ensure integrity of financial data.

  • Responding to and resolving customer queries, on a one touch basis.

  • Carrying out Quality Assurance on customer transactions.

  • Developing and matching systems for premium reconciliation

  • Maintaining external customer service provision

  • Reconciling financial systems to ensure integrity of financial data.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

  • Previous experience in a credit control/debt recovery role or similar

  • Strong numerical skills and good working knowledge of Excel

  • Knowledge of bank reconciliations

  • High degree of customer focus & commitment to confidentiality

The role is 35hrs per week 9am - 5pm M-F. 24 days holiday + BH.
