Some of the ESSENTIAL SKILLS we are looking for in a candidate interested in this incredible opening are:
A degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science OR similar
C,C++ or C# PROGRAMMING
Application development experience (Embedded, Cloud or Mobile )
Proven track record of developing applications to high standards
An understanding of development methodologies
Familiarity of protocol stack development
Knowledge of Linux, MS Windows & Office and Agile development
Problem solving skills
Someone able to work alone or unsupervised
Whilst it is an advantage to have experience in the industrial, marine or mobile markets; as a minimum we would want to see candidates who have experience when it comes to developing and maintaining embedded applications. it would also be important to see evidence of legacy code and updating to improve reliability and efficiency. Finally, if you are a deliverer of projects in a timely fashion then you have all the tools we are potentially looking for.
