​We are currently recruiting for a modern, dynamic Insurance firm near Taunton who are beginning a new era under new management and are looking for a key team player to join them on their journey. The business provides a professional and reliable service to the local community. Our client believe in offering the personal touch and treating customers as individuals. They are considered to be one of the UK's leading insurance providers and have been looking after customers for such for many years.

Importantly, the business has built a small yet capable and welcoming team. The office premises are set in stunning countryside surroundings, offering free parking, scenic walks for lunch and the kind of setting anyone would want to drive to work for.

About the role:

In this role you would be providing exceptional customer service, you will handle enquiries, provide insurance quotations and undertake insurance transactions and general tasks with a 'can do' attitude. You will also be required to assist with renewal retention by using an excellent telephone manner to make the most of every call.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Review and advise (once trained) on all customer enquiries relating to general insurance requirements

  • Process all customer instructions for policy amendments

  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of the company products

  • Support the Senior team with appointment booking and general administrative support

  • Work in a compliance setting, ensure everything is recorded

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Insurance or Financial Services experience are deemed an advantage but not essential

  • Demonstrate good communication skills

  • Be IT Literate in particular (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Showcase problem solving skills and be able to use your own judgement

  • Have a flexible, positive approach to work

  • Be organised and want to succeed

  • Maths & English GCSE Grade C or above (above Grade 4)

The role offers complete, concise full training so evening if you don't have financial services or Insurance experience but are confident in your service capabilities then we would love to hear from you

9am - 5pm Mon-Fri Office based. The role offers, 25 days holiday + BH,
