The purpose of the role is to: Maintain and support expansion of materials control system specifically by leading on the authoring and maintaining of all the monographs which are the key control documents. This role requires cooperation and support from QC,QA,Production and Logistics therefore managing these modest collaborations including leading small teams for short periods, and chairing meetings is a requirement. The updating of SOPs which describe the materials control system as required/directed will also be part of the role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaise with the QA Department over the final issue and effectiveness of agreed Monographs
To contact suppliers to obtain accurate information, details and any required documentation/certification
To raise and manage any necessary Change Controls required to update Monographs
Provide support to any new projects that require new Monographs.
Implement any required actions that arise via the Product Change Notifications, or delegate actions as agreed and monitor progress
Escalate any issues to the Logistics Manager and/or Director of Logistics and Project Management.
