We have a fantastic opportunity available to join our team here at ReQuire Consultancy. As a boutique recruitment agency, it is our job to support businesses of all shapes and sizes with their recruitment strategy. That means, it's our job to find companies the very best talent in the marketplace for their vacancies. We've been doing this for quite some time now and some say we're actually quite good at it. Our office is situated in Burcombe, a beautiful little village just outside of Salisbury, and right now it's currently being decorated ready for the grand return to office life. It's a luxurious renovated barn complete with all the mod cons including your own car parking space, the best bean to cup coffee in all the land, super quick Wi-Fi, even French doors to throw open during the Summer months, a friendly dog, oh and did I mention the number of idyllic walking routes to take yourself off for some downtime whenever you so wish? Well, there is.

About the role: Well, we are looking to employ someone who has a general interest in people. We are not necessarily looking for experience in recruitment, (we'll take care of that with our training) no, what we want is something you cannot teach, that good ol' fashion ability to communicate really rather well! You'll be conversing one minute with a client about their need to hire a super-fast typist, before engaging with candidates about their latest interview woes of why they can't seem to turn the mute button off when it comes to an interview and everything in between. It really is as diverse as that.

It's all about being proactive. Thinking on your feet, anticipating opportunities, knowing who to engage with and when. It sounds fun right? Well, that's because it is! Ok it's full on, it's not a role for the feint hearted that’s for sure. We are in the service industry after all and so therefore all of our customers expect results immediately, and why shouldn't they. It's our job to manage their expectations, so it's very important that you pride yourself on your communication skills, they really are so crucial in this role.

As well as the hunger and communication skills we do need to see some evidence of B2B sales or at least account management in a B2B capacity. It can come from any industry really, from Property sales, to Media Advertising, even Recruitment (obviously) but knowing how to negotiate, meet expectations, never giving up on behalf of a customer, these are talents we do want to see.

ReQuire Consultancy is all about building trusted relationships, we are not looking for someone who thinks recruitment is all about making 100 phone calls a day, oh no! There's an art to it, we want a craftsman/woman someone who absorbs themselves in their client's world and is passionate to dedicate key time to solving a vacancy puzzle. You’ll be joining a team who have so much recruitment experience that we are excited to mentor you and watch you fly!

So lets break it down, here's an appetizer into some of your daily tasks..

·         Talking (a lot)

·         Listening (even more so!) Attention to detail is key.

·         Emailing plenty! (A stickler for spellling and punctuation?)

·         Scheduling meetings, phone, virtual, (face to face - in a not too distant future we hope)

·         Identifying opportunities, seizing them with both hands

·         Working collaboratively. Team players only!

·         Taking on new instructions before strategically planning a path to success

·         Interviewing candidates, ensuring they are absolutely the right choice

·         Writing your own blogs, job vacancies to be advertised

·         Keeping your eyes wide open ready to absorb any information passing your way

·         Administration. The magic doesn’t just happen, you need to be super organised and have a knack to work in a busy environment.

·         Negotiate. Confirm new instructions as well as ensuring your candidates receive the offers of their dreams!

It’s easy to list the endless duties this role can offer but as the old saying goes; ‘No day will ever be the same’. If anything, Covid has reminded us all to just be ourselves, so if anything, we are really excited to meet candidates who think they have the ability to make a positive impact on people’s lives by helping them connect. So if you are someone who is passionate, caring, ready to roll your sleeves up, put in a shift, laugh (lots), pull your hair out (at times), see a hurdle and WANT to fly over it, have a proficient grasp on MS Office, Teams, and/or other software’s then get in touch.

Remember, this is a role for someone who can communicate superbly! This is not a hard sales role!

This is a full time position Monday to Friday, just like in any service driven role expect to step outside of your remit so we don't even consider 9-5 a thing anymore.

Oh and a tip for you, why not send a cover letter to tell us all about you and bring that CV to life!
