A great opportunity is now available for a capable Stock Controller to join a leading manufacturing firm based in Salisbury. You will be joining an established friendly team in a busy, modern environment.
Main duties include:
Unloading, unpacking incoming consignments
Check content, quality and quantity against delivery paperwork
Receive goods via an ERP system
Ensure stock is stored away carefully
Use and perform daily checks
Ensure all goods are clearly labelled
Rotate goods when required
Keep stores area clean and tidy
Load and despatch outgoing freight
It's a lovely place to work, kept incredibly clean and very spacious to allow the stock to be moved effectively and efficiently. It is important that you have some previous logistics, or stock controlling experience to be considered for this position. It is also essential that you have recent or current forklift experience. If you have a lapsed licence that is not a concern as our client is happy to put you through a refresher course.
