We are looking for skilled transcribers to help support an incredible project 'Her Salisbury Story' the project is designed specifically to celebrate the life and times of key women in Salisbury who have achieved above and beyond in our local community.
They urgently need skilled people to support us with transcribing from the interviews, that our volunteers will commence in the New Year, the women interviewed will form important Oral History & Heritage to enable everyone to access their stories forever, via local archives and the project website You will work on a fully remote basis, to transcribe for our volunteer interviewers.
All stories are specifically from women, so an interest in female achievement would be of advantage but is not necessary.
It is essential that you have a solid grasp & understanding of the English language, covering a broad range of topics as well as fantastic listening and comprehension skills.
All transcripts you work on will be from audio and your role will be to transcribe Verbatim into an accurate, fluent and fully written document, you may also (Create written records of audio, images, and video recordings) You will be fully conversant in technology and have the ability to data label according to a defined criteria.
