We are currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer to work within our client's marketing and e-commerce team. You will be responsible for continually raising the creative bar and delivery best in class creative solutions. The role requires ongoing challenges to yourself and the business, improving the relevance, resonance and breakthrough of your work whilst generating new ideas and bringing your own experience to the team. Our client are a dedicated, passionate collective who are working hard to improve sustainability through eco initiatives to help save the planet as well as money whether that is by implementing solar panels on their warehouses or working with suppliers or helping you identify energy efficient avenues, so as you can tell, a truly rewarding environment to be.

The main purpose of the role: Understanding and interpreting the briefs, creative conceptualisation, graphic design, presentation and communication skills. Knowledge of print, e-commerce, web design, social, and digital roll out, personal time management and collaboration. Knowledge in Adobe programs; Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is essential.

Relevant experience required for such a role include:

  • In-image editing and retouching

  • Pre-press production

  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and present these ideas

  • Able to provide concept ideas through rough sketches and word document briefs

  • Working on layouts and artwork pages ready for print

  • Able to demonstrate your experience through a portfolio of work

Key skills and attributes that are needed to succeed:

  • It is essential that you will have solid knowledge of Adobe creative suite, Photoshop, In-design and Illustrator as well as Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Acrobat.

  • You will have excellent time management and organisational skills as you will need to have the ability to manage workloads and to work flexibly meeting deadlines as well as managing several projects at a time.

  • Able to use both MAC and Windows based operating systems.

  • You will have an excellent eye for detail and the ability to proof read to produce accurate and high-quality work.

  • You will have the ability to work independently and carry out your own research for content and concept ideas to use in your work.

  • Able to work with a small team.

The role is full time and offers flexibility when it comes to working in the office or at home. Our client is regarded as a leading name within their industry across the UK and European markets.
