We're excited to offer a fantastic work-from-home opportunity for someone with experience in the travel industry. Our client is renowned for their superbly crafted tour packages, sending customers to some of the world's most amazing destinations. This role is all about ensuring that every tour is meticulously planned and organised, allowing guests to have a truly exceptional experience.

The right candidate will be able to work independently and take full responsibility for managing tours from start to finish. This includes booking and confirming all aspects of the tour, ensuring special access visits are secured, and managing any changes with suppliers to achieve the best outcomes for our guests. You'll also need to keep the Head of Operations updated about the status of each tour, including any concerns, booking issues, or deviations from the planned itinerary.

Additional responsibilities include: updating suppliers on booking statuses, managing room allocations based on demand, ensuring timely payments to suppliers, and handling guests' special requests related to diet, accommodations, or travel needs. You'll communicate any changes in the advertised tour to our Product, Marketing, and Sales teams, as well as directly to the guests.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all tour-related documentation is accurate, managing expectations about hotels, countries, and tour programs, and delivering these documents to guests on time. Support for customer inquiries should be available up to 10 weeks before departure.

Documentation for tour staff needs to be meticulously prepared and sent out well before each tour, including detailed schedules and confirmations. You'll also ensure compliance with GDPR guidelines and conduct health and safety audits on all accommodations and local transport. Organizing pre-tour briefings with tour staff to inform them about their roles and any potential concerns is critical.

This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about travel and customer satisfaction.

Please contact Sam to discuss the role should you be eager to land a new remote based role within the resurgent Travel industry.
