An exciting new role working for a prestigious family run organisation in the local area is now available. We are looking for a candidate who has a construction, or a trade or even some production experience as you will be stepping into a busy workshop producing bespoke products for clients.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Assist with various tasks supporting other members of the Workshop team
Perform heavy lifting and moving of equipment and materials
Assemble and disassemble components using hand tools
Learning and setting up the CNC Machine according to specifications
Trained on how to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently
Provide excellent customer service to clients when they visit the workshop to see their projects come to life
You will be part of a team and the company have a glowing track record of training up new staff within the workshop who then go on to have great long term careers with them. Trained in skilled operation, you need to be physically fit, happy to turn your hand to a variety of duties to learn on the job and have a good old fashioned hard work ethic to be a success.
Due to the location and requirements, you will need your own transport to get to work daily. Hours for the role are nice too, 08:30am - 17:30pm Mon-Fri only.
