The third Monday of every January is considered to be the most depressing day of the year. It's often cold, we're all roughly two weeks into the new year's resolutions (if they are still going strong), the bills from Christmas fall through the letterbox. So with the thought of facing 'Blue Monday' slap bang in the middle of a lockdown, the nation is encouraged to turn today into 'Brew Monday'. If we have learnt anything from our experiences during lockdown it's to be kinder to one another and that is the message that is being pushed today across the UK.
