We are seeking an Accounting Technician who is highly motivated, efficient and enthusiastic, to work within a Finance Team based in Wilton. In this role, you will provide financial support to a growing number of primary schools within a Multi Academy Trust.
The main purpose of the role will be to: Be responsible for the accounting processes and to be the administrator for the Finance system. You will also provide guidance and day to day supervision of the Finance Assistant within the team which also includes a Finance Apprentice.
As the successful candidate you will be a key member of the Services team, meeting new challenges and driving forward improvements to a welcoming, inclusive Academy Trust where everyone is valued. Working in a small team of 4 Reporting into Finance Director
Need to demonstrate good sound communication skills, prove to be adaptable, willing to multitask and assist others if needs be
You require competent IT Skills including, advanced Excel skills would be key
Previous Accounts Experience at least 2 years, with Sage/Xero or QuickBooks experience
AAT Level 4 Ideally OR CIMA/ACCA OR Degree
The position is full time and offers a hybrid split between home working and in the office environment
