​An excellent customer service role is now available to join an award winning engineering firm based in Salisbury. Our client are a market leading award winning company steeped in history known throughout their industry for their delivery of high quality products and customer service. The role is full time, the position does offer some flexibility and a nice early finish on a Friday. We are looking for a candidate who has some prior experience of working in a customer service or account management role preferably within an Engineering or Technical environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys being responsible for delivering good service, handling any enquiries and chasing up a customer's request internally.

Some duties of the role will include:

  • Corresponding with customers, including handling quote updates, logging any discrepancies and ensuring a satisfactory conclusion is found

  • Maintaining communication when amendments to orders are placed. Keeping the customer up to speed with key information

  • Inputting all customer activity onto an internal database

  • Assisting a Quality Team with the day to day running of the of their priority list

  • Relaying key information to members of the business and also the customer when required

  • Customer liaising and problem solving

Some of the key skills and experiences we are looking for from someone in this role will be:

  • Experience of working in a technical, engineering or similar organisation where you have been in a service focused role

  • Confident user of MS Office

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A commitment to your customers - If an investigation is required, that you go to lengths to fact find and report back with key information
