​Do you have a passion for IT, perhaps as a recent Graduate you are looking for that first career move? Our client is an agile and vibrant company where the emphasis is delivering solutions to delight each of their customers.

With a centrally based office location our client are offering a hybrid working pattern, 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home. The role will see you join a team of eight in the Data Migration department and the first three months of the role will be focused on learning the systems and taking on some of the companies smaller projects to help you naturally develop into your role.

The role involves designing, testing and executing one off and regularly run SQL scripts and ETL packages to migrate data from one database to a new improved one.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Take ownership of allocated tasks and deliver to specification

  • Work as part of a team to ensure all data transformation happens effectively

  • Attend workflow meetings

  • Advise clients on timescales limitations or constraints

  • Handle internal calls and client queries at an operational level (once trained)
