An exciting new role is now available for a talented Digital Marketeer to step into the role of Marketing Manager, working with an equally talented bunch of people as they look to spread the good word about our client's rather exciting, little group of treasures. The Digital Marketing Manager will be a key member of the Marketing Team. The role requires a digital professional with proven experience in all areas of digital marketing management, with a focus on website development, SEO and paid digital marketing. You will be equally strong creatively and strategically, and hands-on in terms of implementation, and passionate about taking our travel business to the next level. With a passion for web strategy and lead generation, they will take the lead across 3 areas:
Websites – Creating and delivering a strategic plan for the transformation of the look and feel of our websites and traffic
Campaigns – Designing and delivering measurable campaigns across a range of digital channels for our target segments
Analysis – Maintaining a reporting suite to demonstrate impact and return on investment across all marketing activities
The Digital Marketing Manager will need to bring structure, resilience and enthusiasm to the role. They will work to tight deadlines across multiple projects.
Activities and Duties:
Website development and maintenance – Driving the strategy for the continual improvement of our websites, including onsite conversion, usability, bounce rate and look and feel
Campaign design – Developing engaging and impactful campaigns, that drive growth in target market segments
Campaign delivery – Delivering integrated campaigns, with a range of tactics across a range of promotional channels, including: PPC, SEO, Social media, (paid and organic) Advertising, PR, Others
Innovation – Identifying and implementing new marketing approaches to drive growth.
Content strategy – Managing and creating engaging and consistent content for web, social, email and wider promotional activities
Market assessment – Drawing upon existing insight and collating additional information to establish a deep understanding of the company’s markets
Reporting – Creating and updating reports and insights to demonstrate performance of individual initiatives and campaigns, including engagement and ROI
Competitor analysis – Identifying and sharing the strengths and weaknesses of competitor offerings and marketing activities.
Maintaining travel sector awareness and appreciation, staying up to date with relevant trends and changes in the sector.
Embracing a culture of continuous business improvement and self-development including any training needs to increase business and individual effectiveness.
Essential skills and experience we need our Digital Marketing Manager to have:
Experience of website management, SEO/PPC, and paid digital campaigns
Solid understanding of marketing principles
Strong verbal and written communication
Reporting across web, email, social and other channels
Familiar with CRM and campaign scheduling software
Project management skills
Market research, including competitor analysis
Proven B2C marketing experience
Experience of Google Analytics and Facebook Business Manager
