An excellent Finance Assistant role is now live with a key client of ours, situated in their idyllic Salisbury countryside location your role will see you join a small Accounts team working in sync with that department as well as the rest of the business that run a successful operation.
The main responsibility for the Finance Assistant is to: Handle the Management System that includes updating and report generation as well as handling the membership accounts the organisation offer.
We are looking for candidates who have some Accounts or Finance Assisting experience in a previous role. The most important thing for our client however is ATTITUDE. If you are eager to learn and have a basic knowledge of Ledger, invoicing, managing direct debits that would be really appealing as the company culture would suggest someone with a pleasant nature looking to learn is much more appealing than someone over qualified for such a team focused position.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing an inhouse system
Responsible for setting up and new tenancies and reports
Manage a direct debit process
Handle all aged debt reports, chasing outstanding amounts
Processing invoices, handling deposits
Reconciliation of tourist based accounts
Manage monthly collection of annual memberships (direct debits)
Compile Gift Aid claims and maintain records
Operate a booking system
Maintain a summary of cumulative income compared with budget
