​Are you an experienced Internal Recruiter who is looking for a role which offers more variety?

We are delighted to be supporting a leading organisation based at Porton Down Science Park, who are looking for a skilled recruitment professional to join their HR division.

As an Internal Recruiter you will be responsible for identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through various channels and social media, also conduct interviews when necessary and filling paperwork as required.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Managing the entire recruitment lifecycle from screening candidates, conducting interviews, running background checks.

  • Attracting candidates by drafting advertising copy for use in a range of media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals.

  • Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, such as websites and magazines; using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships.

  • Communicating with managers to build and develop positive relationships.

  • Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work.

  • Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client.

  • Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job.

  • Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates for the managers.

  • Informing candidates about the results of interviews.

  • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between managers and candidates.

  • Working with the HR team and performing various ad hoc HR activities.

  • Contributing to the implementation of HR/recruitment software.

Person Specification:

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and process.

  • Ability to multitask, coordinate and prioritise key projects.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Computer literate and good working knowledge of HR IT systems / job boards and social media platforms.
