​We have a new permanent opportunity now available for a Marketing Assistant to join a growing business who are dedicated to innovative and sustainable practices to advance water management for a sustainable future. We want to identify someone who is motivated by developing their own skills by learning from their peers as well as being willing to throw themselves into something new within the business. Summary of the role: The ideal candidate will handle a range of sales and marketing tasks, including account planning, supporting and implementing marketing plans, managing social media, responding to tenders, and other sales support and marketing duties.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Account Planning: Work closely with the sales team to create account strategies and plans that enhance customer satisfaction and increase further opportunities.

  • Marketing Plan Support and Delivery: Help develop and implement marketing strategies to promote solutions, run marketing campaigns, organising events, and creating promotional materials.

  • Social Media Management: Oversee social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter) to boost brand visibility, interact with audiences, to drive lead generation.

  • Tender Response: Aid in preparing and submitting tender documents, ensuring they are accurate, comply with regulations, and meet client expectations.

  • General Marketing Activities: Support various other sales and marketing efforts, such as conducting market research, analysing competitors, managing databases, and maintaining communication with customers.

Key skills and experiences we are looking for will include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
