If so, we are recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join our client's operation who specialise in manufacturing and distribution a wide array of high quality products from their impressive site in Andover.
The role will see you take ownership of all the purchasing activities for the business, with the support of the wider senior team and other like minded talented individuals who make it their mission to always strive for the best results to enable the company to stay ahead of the competition.
In the role of Purchasing coordinator, you will be required to undertake the following duties:
Design and plan sourcing and purchasing strategies
Work with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams
Maintain a database of suppliers
Source potential suppliers and vendors
Track, measure and analyse company expenditure
Set and track KPIs
Provide reports for Senior management
Be aware of regulations and any changes that need to be addressed
Ensure cost effective purchase of materials and services as required by the Procurement plan whilst ensuring quality control and compliance with the company's policies and procedures
This is an exciting role within the business and would suit someone who has had some current hands on Purchasing/Procurement/Supply Chain experience of at least 2+ years.
