​​We are recruiting for a specialist provider of Risk Management who has been committed to technical excellence, delivering consistently high service standards and, working closely with their clients by delivering flexible, fixed price Risk Management programmes around the world. The company is a provider of specialist consultancy claims solutions to businesses operating in the industrial construction, transportation, project cargo and supply chain sectors and due to business growth, they have a full time vacancy for a Project Coordinator to team up to support a Project Manager by preparing and completing each case file.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Support the development, implementation and completion of cargo risk management programs for high value infrastructure development projects on a global basis

  • Assisting in the preparation of operational reporting and adhering to time frames that may be set

  • Preparing and distributing risk management program Assignment Specifications, Cost Analysis, Surveyor Instructions, and Summary Reports to insurance brokers, underwriters and clients.

  • Communicating frequently with clients, global network partners, insurance brokers, insurance underwriters, ocean vessel agents and freight forwarders to ensure the most efficient and effective completion for each survey and project.

  • Planning, instruction and coordination of surveyors responsible for monitoring the movement of large infrastructure project cargo ensuring safe carriage from origin to destination via air, land and sea transport

  • Requesting and reviewing all cargo documentation relating to projects such as shipment packing lists, ocean vessel and road transport stowage plans, technical drawings and securing calculations

  • Review and interpret surveyor reported outcomes prior to issue to clients / insurers.

Primary skills required:

We are looking for someone to who has good experience with MS Office, (Outlook, Word, Excel), has a good eye for detail, able to work well under pressure as well as demonstrating good communication skills to colleagues and clients. A lot of the interaction will come through via email from clients across the globe so important you can demonstrate awareness and work efficiently to prioritised cases is important. A background Administration or Insurance is a real advantage.
