A great new opportunity is now available for a Project Management superstar who will be responsible for the planning, implementation and tracking of simultaneous e2e customer projects on time, to agreed standard and budget.
Our client are looking for what we would call, 'Self Starters' who enjoy working with minimal supervision and can hit the ground running and deliver great project experiences for new customers.
The business is a fast-moving technology business undergoing rapid growth and are considered to be a leading providers in their industry to their client base. To help them on their quest to deliver and be the best we want to introduce to them the most brilliant of people who can perform to a high level.
Some of the key responsibilities?
You’ll be planning, implementing and managing the project. This means you’ll review work alongside a Consulting team to ensure a standard project methodology delivers a successful, on time project.
High level planning and securing resource before creating a detailed project plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
Determine the resources (time, support, interdependencies etc) required to complete the project.
Produce and deliver, clear, succinct documents and presentations using multiple inputs and data sources.
Establish and manage the communication schedule to update the customer and internal stakeholders on project delivery against plan.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with senior level clients, including internal Executive teams across multiple clients.
Undertake a post implementation review to evaluate the outcomes of the project against agreed plans to identify improvement opportunities that benefit both the Customer and the business.
What skills and experience do you need to have?
You’ll need a minimum of 2 years’ experience of successfully managing multiple projects, preferably in a software or solutions delivery role.
We’re looking for a real completer finisher, who is an analytical and proactive thinker and someone who really takes ownership and accountability of their work.
You’ll be an avid user of project management reporting tools. Familiarity with projectmanager.com is an advantage to have
You’ll be the type of person who frequently challenges the ‘status quo’ as well as removing external and internal barriers by identifying effective solutions.
You’ll be predominately working from home and when you’re not, you’ll be visiting clients across the UK or popping in to your new fancy office in Southampton
