​We have a new opening now available for a talented Secretary who join a locally based firm in a key role supporting a senior member of the business.

With a background working in the Legal sector proving to be an advantage BUT NOT ESSENTIAL , our client are looking for someone who can cater for a wide array of secretarial duties whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy throughout.

The primary responsibilities of the role include:

  • Fast and accurate copy and audio typing

  • Drafting basic correspondence

  • Diary management, including travel arrangement where necessary

  • Email management

  • Ensuring the department lead complies with best practice, risk and compliance and money laundering requirements

  • Dealing with expense claims

  • General office duties

Whilst legal secretarial experience is an advantage, the most vital skill is having excellent IT skills and a knowledge of digital dictation. Familiarity of document and case management systems would be an advantage. We are looking for a typing speed of 65wpm with at least 90% accuracy to be considered for this post.

  • Hours are 9am - 5pm Mon-Fri. 33 days holiday as well as private medical insurance, life assurance and pension included.
