A brand new admin role is now available to join a Salisbury based engineering company who are expert sales and manufacturers of their product range. With in excess of 50 years history, our client operate out of an easily accessible site and employ approximately 30 staff. With some house hold names as their client base, you will be joining a company who have a wonderful reputation for customer understanding and delivery of the final product.

Initially the role will be office based to ensure you take full advantage of the training on offer but once you have got through the initial period there will be the flexibility of a hybrid working model offered to you. The role is full time 08:30am - 17:00pm with an early finish on a Friday. Free parking and 31 days holiday inclusive of BH.

The primary purpose of the role include: Working as part of the Service & Training team, supporting a Senior member of the team with all aspects of the department administration process. If you enjoy working with a systematic approach where no two days are the same in a busy environment this will be a rewarding and fulfilling role!

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Entering all client training records onto the customer database

  • Creating and despatching training packs to company trainers

  • Sending, logging and tracking all client training details

  • Sending out client training certificates and maintaining the follow up data base

  • Entering all client service records onto the customer database

  • Taking client incoming calls, taking messages and arranging for call backs

  • Creating and entering service jobs into the company service management app to include all client, site details

Required Skills & Experiences we believe will suit this role:

  • Work accuracy is key, with a methodical approach to all tasks

  • Able to demonstrate a reasonable level of proficiency in Office 365 applications (Word, Excel etc)

  • Able to talk to customers on the telephone, outgoing personality

  • Ability to multi-task, interchanging between service/training roles at short notice in response to client demands

  • Good timekeeper with proven record of reliability

  • A positive work ethic, someone who is happy to learn and wants to be part of a reputable organisation
