We have a new opportunity now available for a Stores Person to take on a new level of responsibility in a Team Leader capacity. Working for an incredibly welcoming and friendly operation, the company are a leading Manufacturing firm who operate across three stores on site.
The primary responsibility of the role includes: Being responsible for all packing, shipping, despatch transport co-ordination and general movement and storing of materials and ensuring stock records are kept up to date.
Key duties include:
Act as the main point of contact for all logistical companies visiting the site
Responsible for the transportation of products
Liaise with partners to prepare export orders for despatch and collection
Booking of export and domestic freight/parcels
Management of all outward goods
Line manage up to two Stores personnel, approving holidays, training etc
Control of the stores area - ensuring it's laid out in the most effective way
We are looking for candidates who have the following skills and experiences:
Highly organised - We want you to look at the space and decide what can go where
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of logistics and good command of requirements post Brexit
Line management expeirence - Please note this is a small Stores team.
Must be happy to do the physical side of the job as much as pulling off reports
Forklift experience. If your licence has expried our client will put you through your test
