An exciting new role is now available for a pro active HR & Training coordinator to work as part of a small HR team where you will be responsible for the growth and development of talent within the business as a whole. Our client is a medium sized engineering firm who have a brilliant name in their niche market working with clients across Europe. We are seeking the services of someone with a great energy, a love for being organised, and someone who has created processes as well demonstrating the flair for being a positive team player.

Main purpose of the role: As the coordinator of all training within the business we need you to have a passion for enabling talent. You will plan and assess the ROI of any training or development programmes and participate in internal talent management projects. Although relevant experience would be good, a successful candidate should be IT literate, have an ability to learn fast and who exhibit the right attitude and good communication skills.

Main duties & responsibilities include:

  • Be first point of contact for all training and development requirements

  • Maintain training records through SharePoint and Excel - producing training information

  • Support department managers with implementation of personal development plans

  • Help line managers solve specific training problems, either one to ones or group sessions

  • Act as a point of contact for all training enquiries and follow ups to sessions

  • Review and adapt processes to ensure successful training plans are produced

  • Coordinate, communicate with colleagues across the business

  • Run reports that offer updates and training needs that are utilised for training purposes

  • Various admin support project duties

  • Work closely with the rest of the senior HR team to plan effective strategies

Key skills and experiences:

  • Strong administration/coordination background

  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people within a fast paced environment

  • Proven track record of working towards and achieving deadlines

  • Confidence using MS Office MS Office in particular Word/Excel

  • Have an outgoing personality, a can do attitude, more pro active than reactive is key

  • Excellent customer service experience

  • Strong written and verbal skills, able to multi task
