An exciting new role is now available with a prestigious family-run organisation in the local area. Renowned for their bespoke products and exceptional client service, this company offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about carpentry and joinery to join their dynamic workshop team.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various tasks supporting other members of the Workshop team

  • Perform heavy lifting and moving of equipment and materials

  • Assemble and disassemble components using hand tools

  • Learn and set up the CNC Machine according to specifications

  • Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment

  • Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients when they visit the workshop to see their projects come to life

Requirements:

  • An interest in carpentry and joinery

  • Physically fit and capable of performing heavy lifting and manual tasks

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various duties in the workshop

  • Ability to work well within a team

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality

  • Good communication skills for interacting with clients

  • Previous experience or training in carpentry, joinery, or as a skilled fitter is advantageous

  • Must have own transport due to the location of the workshop
