We have a wonderful new role now available for an Accounts Assistant to join a small Accounts team within one of Salisbury's more recognised household names. This is a new position born out of sheer growth of business and it's an equally exciting role as the Finance Manager is eager to mentor an aspiring Accountant with some extensive commercial exposure.
Key areas of the role you will work on once fully trained:
Sales & Purchase ledger
Reconciliations
Invoicing
Taking credit card payments
Handling customer enquiries
General administrative support
As well as having an interest in further developing your Accounts experience we are looking for someone who has had at least 1-2 years of commercial office experience. Whilst this is a role which offers a huge amount of learning we do also require someone who is used to working in an incredibly busy environment and understanding the pressures of working to deadline.
Other key skills and experiences we are looking for include:
MS Office experience
Excellent communication
A love for number crunching
Accuracy and attention to detail
Able to work well in a small team
A positive outlook, friendly fun personality
AAT Level 1 & 2 is deemed an advantage
