To support the Commercial Manager with all aspects of the day to day management of all retail accounts. A significant part of the job will be focused on working on and supporting two of our client's main retail customers.

Role Key Accountabilities

  • Manage weekly and monthly KPI reports for all retail customers (In conjunction with finance team). Publishing to relevant stakeholders.

  • Assist with preparing reports and account status, requested by Commercial Manager.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships will all relevant retail customer contacts.

  • Assist Commercial Manager to progress customer presentations, as and when required.

  • Ensure all internal systems / paperwork are completed for all new retail product launches and product amendments, as and when required.

  • Ensure all customer systems for new launches, price changes promotions etc. are updated in a timely manner

  • Develop new business within current retail accounts, in conjunction with Commercial Manager and FFG strategy.

  • Assist Commercial Manager in ensure all customer forecasts are updated and submitted to the FFG demand planning team on a monthly basis.

  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

  • Fully awareness of annual budgeted sales and margin targets for Retail accounts – work with Commercial Manager to ensure numbers are successfully achieved.

  • Work closely with, and develop strong relationships between all internal departments:- Production, Technical, Supply Chain, NPD and Financial. Ensure effective internal communication.

  • Be an ambassador for the Company and will act as such at all times.

  • Full awareness and support for the following key area :-

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Experience of working within a commercial environment with major retailers, at a support level (minimum of 2 years) – full understanding of customer’s systems and processes is essential.

Demonstrable ability to communicate and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

Strong organisational skills.

Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.
