Here is an excellent new opportunity for a Customer Service enthusiast to join our client, a niche insurance firm based in Salisbury. The role will see you join the customer service division of the business, where you will play a key role in supporting the development and expansion of the business by ensuring all enquiries are handled in the best fashion.

As a Customer Service Administrator in our client's friendly team, you will work closely with all the Customer Service Team to ensure all electronic correspondence is dealt with, within service levels. This is an important role, with a focus on helping the department keep organised and ensuring customers queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.

As the successful candidate, you will require experience working within a high paced environment and will have good written communication skills.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • To act as the first contact point for customers resolving customer enquiries in line with the agreed SLA’s and procedures.

  • To be clear and polite to customers at all times, determining the appropriate action to take, ensuring that information and advice given is factually correct.

  • Building rapport with internal and external customers to establish excellent customer relations.

  • Assist to ensure targets and performance standards are consistently achieved in line with corporate, and regulatory requirements.

  • Handle queries over email, live chat and social media channels.

  • Deal with telephone calls within busy periods

  • Act as the advocate and champion of the customer, to progress chase-referrals on their behalf, ensuring that responses are delivered within agreed timescales to specified standards

  • Work within a team to ensure all SLA’s I kept to.

  • Encourage and support team members, respecting the views, values, and opinions of others.

  • To be flexible and adaptable and well in a variety of teams and situations.

  • Undertake other duties as directed by the Team Leader and Seniors.

  • Any other duties that come within the purview of this post.

Technical skills, knowledge, and experience

  • Confident in the use of Microsoft packages

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong team player with great organisation skills

  • Proactive approach to use initiative

  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks

  • Ability to prioritise workload and organise time efficiently
