Sales Consultant – Home-Improvement & Glazing Projects
Our client is a long-established, highly regarded manufacturer installer of bespoke home solutions. They’re looking for an engaging Sales Consultant who can turn customer ideas into beautifully delivered projects and help the business continue its impressive growth trajectory.
You’ll combine first-class customer care with consultative selling, liaising with homeowners in their properties and in the company’s contemporary showroom. If you love meeting people, translating drawings into winning quotations and seeing projects through from concept to close, this is the role for you.
What you’ll be doing
Owning the full customer experience cycle from initial enquiry, site visit and requirements gathering through to quotation, negotiation and order confirmation.
Creating detailed, accurate estimates using specialist pricing software and ensuring a rapid follow-up so customers always feel looked after.
Upselling complementary products and services to maximise project value while staying true to each customer’s brief and budget.
Maintaining meticulous records of measurements, specifications and agreed terms, then handing over clean, complete job files to internal teams.
Championing the customer promise by delivering an exceptional experience at every touchpoint email, phone, showroom and on-site.
Collaborating with the Sales Manager to prioritise your pipeline, share market insight and smash collective targets.

What we’re looking for
Demonstrable success in a consultative approach, ideally home-improvement, construction, or a similarly project-led environment.
The confidence to visit customers’ homes, measure up accurately and translate drawings into clear, compelling quotations.
Naturally warm communication style; able to build rapport quickly and adapt your approach
Sharp attention to detail with the organisational skills to juggle multiple live quotations
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to learn other software's
Full UK driving licence and the flexibility to work the occasional Saturday showroom rota.
