Working out of our clients headquarters in Salisbury, we have a requirement for a permanent Driver to deliver and collect customer equipment and parts to a client base across the UK. The role requires you to have a clean licence with the BE entitlement to tow a trailer. (Up to 3.5 tons)
Our client is a business that has been established for over 50 years and is one of the UK's largest manufacturers within their niche field and have an excellent reputation with their entire customer base. In fact, their customer base ranges from, industrial process plants, steel mills, utility companies and drainage contractors. Their machinery can be fixed or mobile and either diesel or electrically powered. They also export to over 50 countries worldwide with a sister company in the States.
About the role: We are looking for a Driver (clean UK licence with BE entitlement) to work with a service department. The role includes collecting and delivering machines after service repairs have been carried out at one of our service depots in Salisbury or Rotherham.
A typical day will involve travelling to a customer site, collecting a road towable machine and bringing the machine to our depot. The role covers all areas of the UK but rarely do any trips go beyond the Midlands.
Obviously the successful candidate will require a love for driving but they must also be well presented and friendly with a customer focussed attitude and safe working methods.
Standard hours are 8.30-5.00 Mon-Thurs and 8.30 to 4.00 Friday but travel outside of these hours should be expected.

A can do attitude with strong customer service ethic
Safety first attitude and happy to drive long distances
Clean driving licence with BE entitlement
Comfortable using handheld electronic device and simple service reporting software
An excellent full time role, offering a company vehicle from day 1. Overtime is available weekly and paid at time and a third.
