An exciting new position has become available for a Accounts focused individual to join a locally based company and provide key support across the Finance and HR divisions. Joining a friendly team within an honest organisation who have spent years building up their strong reputation in their niche markets.
The primary responsibility of the role will be to Add valuable support to the Finance Manager and take hold of a number of daily, weekly, monthly tasks as well as dipping your toe into HR by playing a supportive admin focused role.
Key duties of the role will include:
Reconciling bank accounts daily
Dealing with all company transactions
Check and verify supplier statements
Maintain and record entries onto an internal database
File and archive all invoices
Posting purchase ledger invoices
Supply key data to aid with reports and forecasting
General HR Admin duties including: recording holiday requests, facilitate seasonal events, supporting in the recruitment process, inducting all new starters in the company
Whilst 80% of the role is focused on Accounts Assisting, there is a nice element of variety supporting the HR department. In this role it would be ideal to find someone who is personable, easily able to adapt to change and is attracted to the idea of a little variety within the position.
Key skills and experiences required:
Qualified to at least level 2 AAT
Experience of some Accounts assisting in a previous role
Friendly outgoing nature
Happy to play a supportive role to a Senior Manager
Competent MS Office skills inc. Word, Excel
Have a sense of humour
Happy to take responsibility for booking the Christmas party!
This is a full time role Mon-Fri based at their headquarters just outside of Salisbury. The role offers free parking on site.
