A fabulous new role is now available for a Finance Manager to join one of the Andover's most appealing employers who are part of one of the largest retail groups with a substantial presence in the majority of EMEA and CIS key markets. The main purpose of the Finance Manager will be to demonstrate a good grasp of management accounts, budget preparation, running an annual audit and overseeing a successful small finance team.

We would love to identify someone who loves all aspects of Finance Management, from mentoring and developing your team to preparing key information to be passed to Board level and occasional presentation when required.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Produce management information and documentation

  • Ensure accurate year end information is verified and issued

  • Taking the lead on annual budgeting, ensure all management information is provided to Board level timely

  • Oversee your team - ensure the daily grind is achieved and support where necessary

  • Run appraisals, one-to-ones, reviews, recruitment activity across your division

  • Obtain regular reports from your team to ensure they are hitting their goals or remaining on track to.

  • Work closely with other key members of the business, including the FC

Key skills and experiences required for this role:

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified (we will also consider candidates with core experience)

  • Line management skills - mentoring a small team

  • Preparation of management accounts

  • Creating budgets, forecast

  • Running annual audits

  • Manipulating data in Excel (advanced skills required)
