​An exciting new opportunity within a fast moving organisation has become available to join a business as HR Manager to take a lead on all internal HR requirements as well as continually seeking to improve strategies and methods to benefit the entire company culture.

You will be the primary point of contact for all internal HR queries but you will also have the full support of an existing outsourced HR consultancy and an internal senior team.

The major focus of this role is to review the current processes and streamline accordingly, with a big focus on distributing HR and well-being communications to all employees. Someone who possesses excellent communication qualities who may have office managed and developed HR functions previously, would be an ideal candidate.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Working closely with a senior team to shape an internal HR function

  • Organising and maintaining personnel records

  • Updating internal HR databases whilst maintaining accurate records for all employees

  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics

  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (leave of absence, sick days, work schedules)

  • Participate in HR projects

  • Stay up to date with employment law and advise of any major changes

  • Support the Operations Director where necessary

  • Support with benefits and flexible working

  • Be responsible for leavers and the exit process

We are looking for some specific skills and experiences:

  • Level 5 CIPD + is advantageous

  • Experience as a HR Assistant/Officer/Manager

  • Understanding and experience of HR Policies and processes

  • Strong ICT skills, computer literate in MS Office applications in particular

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Understanding of GDPR

  • A quick and eager learner

  • An ability to be empathetic, respectful and maintain confidentiality

  • GCSE and A Levels, or equivalent standard, at Grade C or above

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work with little supervision and as part of a team
