An exciting HR Manager role is now available for a Salisbury based company who have a vision to be the leading player in their market across the UK. Job Purpose

  • Reporting directly to Group HR BP and partnering with key stakeholders this role delivers generalist HR support enabling the delivery of the site & company growth agenda.

  • Working closely with Site Management to embed the culture and values that are key to the business and supporting local levels of management and employees to ensure the best performance in a motivating environment.

  • As a key member of the Site Operational Leadership Team and broader FFG HR Team, support the development and delivery of the Group People Strategy.

  • Partner with key stakeholders & lead the site HR Team to deliver generalist HR support to enable the delivery of the site & company growth agenda.

Key areas include Organisation Design, Resourcing & Talent Planning, Learning & Development, Performance & Reward, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations & Employment Law.

  • ORGANISATION DESIGN - identify & implement the optimum site & team organisation design to deliver the business strategy

  • EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT - develop & lead the site employee engagement strategy/plan. Develop & lead the site ER strategy. Champion the FFG company values

  • PERFORMANCE AND REWARD - lead the site performance management & appraisal processes. Facilitate the annual salary review process & pay negotiation process. Develop effective reward & recognition mechanisms

  • LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT – ensure the site has the leadership capability to deliver the site strategy. Develop & support managers in all aspects of people management.

  • LEARNING & TALENT DEVELOPMENT - lead the site talent management process. Ensure the site has the appropriate skills & capabilities to deliver the site strategy. Identify development needs; source & deliver training solutions and ensure they meet business and individual needs.

  • RESOURCING & TALENT PLANNING - lead the site resourcing strategy. Develop an effective network of resourcing partners. Lead the talent planning process. To manage the appointment of new employees and internal transfers in accordance with employment legislation and best practice.

 

  • Lead & develop the Site HR Team. Maintain a sound knowledge of employment legislation ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, customer requirements & industry/good practice standards. Maintain & provide management information & HR metrics. Manage the site HR budget. Create an effective HR network (internal & external)

  • To provide expert and professional advice to Managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters and people management issues, including discipline, grievance, capability, restructuring and performance management.

  • HR Policy and procedure review, documentation and recommendations to Senior Management

  • Working with the operations team, ensure that the company remains compliance with Employment law and Ethical Trade guidelines (including Agency usage/ audits and Identification checks).

  • To liaise with GMB officials to ensure effective regular communication and consultation.

  • Play an active role in Finsbury Group Projects to leverage group scale where functionally relevant

  • Financial responsibility for any associated overhead budgets

  • Ensure the motivation, engagement and development of your direct reports and in turn their reports with clear objectives, regular performance reviews

  • Any other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • CIPD Qualified

  • Minimum 3 years within HR field
