Another new role to start the year with! This time we are looking for an Insurance Advisor to join a Salisbury based outfit and be part of their winning team as they continue to make tremendous strides in their industry.

The role will see you take on the mantle of Advisor to a portfolio customers the company represent. You will work in a small team of fellow Advisors and between you under the mentor-ship of your Team Manager will be responsible for the care and attention each customer needs.

What do I ReQuire to be considered for this role?

Firstly, you need to be an infectious and committed communicator. Someone who enjoys engagement with others is key. The role is made up of customer interaction over the phone as well as handling all administrative requests that come in via email. Attention to detail will be important as well as some previous experience of working in an 'objection handling' telephone based role.

If you come from a Sales background, or a Market Research role for a Telecoms company where you have to make hundreds of calls a day, that's an excellent background suited to this role. You will deal with 50-80 calls a day, mostly inbound from customers making enquires, needing their policies updated or cancelled. Being able to objection handle or upsell to those who need it is where you have your greatest success.

Remember: The primary focus of the Insurance Advisor is to look after all customers needs by assisting them and their existing policies for the various products on offer.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to enquiries made by policy holders

  • Ensure existing information regarding each policy is accurate

  • Demonstrate an emotive approach when communicating with our client's customers, the art of listening often goes unnoticed

  • Offer exceptional customer service to each customer

  • Be confident to objection handle and seize upselling opportunities

  • Working as part of a team, pulling together to support and achieve the best results for the team

The role requires someone with a positive energy who enjoys talking. We want to see some previous success when it comes to upselling or selling in general but equally if you have worked in Telecoms, Financial Services, Estate Agency or Recruitment and don't want to the pressures of large KPI's hanging over your head then this is certainly an excellent opportunity for you.

Not only that, the role is part of an exciting growth plan and with their first class internal training you could easily set yourself off on an exciting career pathway with this company.

The role is full time, 9am - 5pm M-F (No weekends!) then get in touch with please contact Debbie today.
