We are seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join a growing, privately owned business within the construction sector. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in supporting the finance function, delivering accurate and timely management accounts, and providing meaningful analysis to help guide decision-making.
About the role:
Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
Job costing and margin analysis across projects
Supporting operational teams with financial insight and performance reporting
Cashflow monitoring and working capital management
Assisting with process improvements and systems development
Supporting year-end accounts and external audit requirements
About you:
QBE (qualified by experience) or Part-Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or similar)
Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of management accounting principles
Excellent Excel and systems skills
Confident communicator able to work closely with non-finance colleagues
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
