The purpose of this position is to support the Head of Marketing and to ensure the delivery of successful projects and campaigns both on and offline, identifying new advertising and promotional streams which will in turn, offer up new customer engagement. You will also play a pivotal role in how our client's members maximise their marketing exposure by reviewing current methods and bringing a fresh impetus to draw up new ideas to be utilised. You will be joining an organisation with a positive reputation who are utilising this period to review all marketing material and launch new exciting strategies so this is a great chance to join a forward thinking household name.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Take a lead on reviewing and implementing promotional methods
Manage all marketing budgets
Manage, motivate, train and develop a marketing team
Review marketing strategies on a regular basis so to remain ahead of the competition
Work with members of the group with branding and marketing strategies so everything is maximised effectively
We are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record of working within a marketing OR brand growth role previously. You must demonstrate experience and wisdom when it comes to 'B2B' and 'B2C' targeted marketing campaigns. Specific retail or consumer goods marketing experience is essential that includes PR and digital marketing success stories.
Team management - This is also key to the success of the role. We are looking for a natural leader who enjoys leading by way of demonstration and not dictating. Motivating is key in any team so to be able to man manage and get the best from individuals to come together as a collaboration is a skill in itself.
